Synopsis. Uther Pendragon, king of Britons, and defender of Britain against the Saxons has died. On Christmas Day, Merlin the magician gathers many knights outside a church. A sword, stuck fast to an anvil, in turn on top of a marble stone, appears. No knight can remove the sword from the anvil. When King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table are defeated by the Warlords and then Queen Guinevere is later captured by the foes, the wizard Merlin recruits a group of football players (and their equipment manager) from the present day to protect Camelot and save the queen.The facts that started the legend of King Arthur are: 1) Arthur was a man that lived and led in Britain. 2) Arthur never called himself a king. 3) Arthur loved his dog.
